1. Who we are and scope

GreenLedger provides remote bookkeeping and property-operations support. Our operations office is at Mezzanine Floor, Office No. 2, 19-A, Main Abbott Road, Opp. PTV Station, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. This policy covers information collected through greenledger.us, our enquiry form, email and service communications.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

• identity and contact information, including your name, work email, phone or WhatsApp number;
• business, property, market and service-interest information;
• meeting preferences and the content of messages you send;
• client records and documents you choose to provide after engagement; and
• basic technical and security logs, such as IP address, browser, device, access time and requested pages.

Please do not place bank credentials, government identifiers, card details or sensitive financial documents in the public enquiry form.

3. Why and how we use information

We use information to respond to enquiries, assess fit, arrange consultations, prepare proposals, deliver agreed services, administer client relationships, protect our systems, keep appropriate records and comply with applicable obligations. Depending on the circumstances, our basis may be your request before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests, consent or a legal obligation.

We do not sell personal information. Marketing messages will include a way to opt out where applicable.

4. Service providers and international transfers

We may share information only as reasonably necessary with hosting, email, communications, security, accounting and professional service providers; members of the GreenLedger delivery team; authorities where legally required; or a successor in a genuine business reorganisation. Our operations are based in Pakistan, so information from overseas clients may be accessed or processed in Pakistan. We take reasonable contractual and organisational steps appropriate to the information and applicable law.

5. Retention

Unsuccessful enquiry records are normally kept for up to 24 months so we can respond, follow up appropriately and maintain business records. Client records are retained for the engagement and afterwards for the period reasonably required by contractual, accounting, dispute and legal needs. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer reasonably needed.

6. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent where consent is relied upon; or opt out of marketing. Some requests may be limited by contractual, recordkeeping or legal requirements. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

7. Security, cookies and third-party links

We use HTTPS and reasonable administrative, technical and access controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. The site does not currently use advertising cookies. Essential server functions and third-party website-delivery resources may process limited technical information. Links to external websites are governed by their own policies.

8. Children and changes

Our services are for businesses and adult property owners and are not directed to children. We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be posted here with its update date.
