HOW AN ENGAGEMENT WORKS

Service Agreement

A clear overview of the principles used in GreenLedger client engagements. Your accepted proposal or order form will contain the final scope.

Important: This page is a general agreement framework, not an automatically binding order form. A client engagement begins only when both parties accept a written proposal, statement of work or order confirmation.

1. Parties and order of documents

The service provider is GreenLedger, operating from Mezzanine Floor, Office No. 2, 19-A, Main Abbott Road, Opp. PTV Station, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The client is the person or organisation identified in an accepted proposal. If documents conflict, the accepted proposal or statement of work takes priority over this general overview.

2. Scope and service standard

GreenLedger will provide the recurring tasks, deliverables, frequency, systems, markets and limits stated in the accepted scope. Work outside that scope requires written approval and may carry an additional fee. Services are delivered remotely using information and access provided by the client. We will use reasonable professional care and communicate material blockers.

3. Client responsibilities

  • Provide complete, accurate and timely records, instructions and authorised system access.
  • Maintain lawful software licences, bank relationships, insurance, registrations and local professional advisers where required.
  • Review outputs, approvals, notices and decisions promptly.
  • Keep credentials secure and provide access using approved sharing methods rather than public forms or ordinary email where possible.
  • Remain responsible for management decisions, filings, payments, legal compliance and ownership obligations unless a signed scope expressly states otherwise.

4. Fees, trial and payment

Fees, currency, billing frequency, volume assumptions, taxes and payment dates will be stated in the proposal. Introductory prices apply only to the stated period and scope. A seven-day trial is a limited workflow demonstration, not a complete accounting close or full property-management takeover. Third-party software, contractors, local visits, repair costs, filing fees and specialist advisers are separate unless expressly included.

5. Bookkeeping boundaries

Bookkeeping is based on records and explanations supplied by the client. Unless expressly agreed, services do not include audit, assurance, tax return preparation, legal opinions, regulated public-accountancy work or verification of every underlying transaction. The client and its authorised tax or legal advisers remain responsible for filings, tax positions and statutory decisions. GreenLedger’s QuickBooks capability is based on team qualifications and practical experience; we do not claim Intuit certification or endorsement.

6. Remote property-operations boundaries

Property support is remote administrative and coordination work. Unless a market-specific signed scope and legally authorised partner state otherwise, it does not include brokerage, handling trust money, physical inspections, emergency attendance, legal notices, tenant placement, lease execution, regulated property management or legal compliance opinions. Owners retain final approval and responsibility for vendors, expenditure, safety, insurance and local landlord obligations.

7. Confidentiality, systems and data

Each party will protect non-public information with reasonable care and use it only for the engagement. GreenLedger may use vetted service providers and team members who need access to deliver the service. The client authorises agreed systems and cross-border remote processing described in the Privacy Policy. Each party will notify the other of a material security issue relevant to the engagement without unreasonable delay.

8. Ownership and working files

The client retains ownership of its source records and final client-specific deliverables after payment. GreenLedger retains ownership of pre-existing methods, templates, know-how, automation and internal working files. The client receives a non-exclusive right to use delivered reports for its internal business purposes.

9. Term, suspension and termination

Either party may end a month-to-month service with the notice stated in the accepted proposal. GreenLedger may pause work for overdue fees, missing information, unsafe access, unlawful instructions or material scope breach. On termination, outstanding fees remain due and reasonable transition materials will be provided after account settlement.

10. Warranties, liability and disputes

We do not guarantee a financial, tax, investment, tenant, funding or property outcome. Any liability allocation, exclusions and financial cap will be stated in the signed proposal and will apply only to the extent permitted by law. The parties should first try to resolve concerns through good-faith management discussion. Governing law and dispute forum will be stated in the accepted proposal; absent a different written term, Punjab, Pakistan law and competent Lahore courts apply, subject to mandatory rights.

11. Contact and acceptance

Request a tailored agreement

A proposal should reflect your market, transaction volume, property count and required responsibilities.
